Enjoying the sessions.
Something that really struck me about this summer school, was the wonderful opportunity given to young people to engage with professionals who enabled and empowered them to work with their talent and experience new ways of engaging with contemporary church music and celebrating Liturgy meaningfully.
The theme for this year was “Make Your Home in Me” Jn 15:4 and the team certainly helped make everyone feel at home during this week. There was wonderful Liturgy, lots of activities and entertainment, sharing of stories, fun and laughter throughout the week.
Vocations Ireland would like to thank the MMT – Ian, Anne-Marie, Therese, Sinead, Grainne, Cathal, Cara, Regina, Paul, Orla, Ciaran, and Fr Brendan. A special word of thanks to Dom Richard and the Cistercian community for their warm hospitality and the use of such a wonderful Sacred space.
Watch out for this Summer school next year and make sure to book in time to avoid disappointment. Keep your eye on Vocations Ireland Website during the year and you might win a place on the next course.
