Are you currently discerning whether religious life could be God’s call to you? We are running two Monastic Experience Weekends here at Glencairn this year: 25 – 27 August, and again on 27 – 29 October for women who are discerning their vocation.
Monastic Experience Weekends are a great way to discover Cistercian life in the company of others who are also discerning. Come and experience for yourself the rhythm of the Cistercian monastic life of prayer, work, and contemplation and the Cistercian balance of both community and solitude. Talk to a sister for vocation guidance. Meet our sisters in initial formation. Take some quiet time for prayer in the Abbey Church and experience God’s presence also in the beauty of nature here at Glencairn.
