Monastic Vocation Weekend.

Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea, Co Tipperary

For those who are discerning their vocation and wish to attend; our next monastic experience weekend will take place at Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea, on the weekend of Friday 18th October to Sunday 20th October.

It is an opportunity for men between the ages of 20 and 40 who may be discerning a monastic vocation to find out more about monastic life and to listen to God’s call by sharing the rhythm of the monastic daily prayer schedule. There will be an opportunity to speak one-to-one with a monk and reflect together on the  monastic vocation.

This might be for you:
 a.. If you feel attracted to monastic life and wonder whether it might be for you;
 b.. If you have thought sometimes that God might be calling you to religious life, but have hesitated to take the first step;
To make an enquiry or to arrange a meeting to talk about your vocation discernment, please contact our Vocations Director, Br Malachy Thompson (email: malachy@msjroscrea.ie   or Text ‘INFO’ to 085 833 8503

Poor Clares Carlow Vocations Day

God’s path for your life is made especially for you and no one else but you can travel it.

To you who are at the crossroads of life; you who are seeking what to do with your life and to know which vocation is yours.

Pope John Paul II said:

” I would like to ask each one of you; What will you do with your life ?
  What are you plans ?
  Have you ever thought of committing your existence totally to Christ ?
  Will you offer yourselves to Christ, telling Him you are available ?

To learn more about the Poor Clares way of life, consider visiting them on September 28th from 10.30 a.m. to 5p.m.  Check out http://www.poorclarescarlow.ie/welcome.htm for more information
