The Cistercian Way, Monastic Experience Weekend
For those who would like to explore the Cistercian Way to God, we are hosting a Monastic Experience Weekend on 16 – 18 May, 2014.
This is an opportunity to discover the Cistercian life, to reflect on the monastic call, to listen to the personal experiences of the sisters and to join us in the daily rhythm of our life of prayer and work, solitude and community.

Cistercian Monastic Vocation Weekend

Monastic Vocation Weekend.
Mount Saint Joseph Abbey,
Roscrea, Co Tipperary
For those who are discerning their vocation and wish to attend; our next monastic experience weekend will take place at Mount Saint Joseph Abbey, Roscrea, on the weekend of Friday 6th June to Sunday 8th June.
It is an opportunity for men between the ages of 20 and 40 who may be discerning a monastic vocation to find out more about monastic life and to listen to God’s call by sharing the rhythm of the monastic daily prayer schedule. There will be an opportunity to speak one-to-one with a monk and reflect together on the monastic vocation.
This might be for you:
a.. If you feel attracted to monastic life and wonder whether it might be for you;
b.. If you have thought sometimes that God might be calling you to religious life, but have hesitated to take the first step;
